Barbara Abadi
My mission is to help my clients lead with calm, clear-headed focus and peace of mind.
Experience
I am a strategic thinker and insatiable learner with more than 25 years of experience in international banking, consulting, and executive coaching. My focus areas are self-awareness, leadership, and organizational effectiveness.
My previous experiences include Chief Operating Officer/Integrator of a privately held international investment banking boutique with offices in the US, Argentina, and Germany and EM Debt Marketer to financial institutions in the US, Latin America and Europe.
I have had the pleasure to serve companies large and small in more than 10 countries in the financial services, healthcare, consumer goods, oil and gas industries and developing governments.
In my spare time, I served 10 years as a very active, committed Board Member and Trustee Emeritus of Inwood House (now the Children’s Village), a non-profit agency serving pregnant and parenting teens in New York City.
I love a good challenge and use my keen observation and listening skills to sleuth out connections across business strategy, people strategy and infrastructure to detect blind spots that others don’t notice. I am happy to say that my work is also my hobby.
I easily connect with people from many different cultures and have had the pleasure to live and work in Argentina, Chile, Panama, Peru, and the UK.

FOCUS ON THE TARGET!
My one and only experience at the greyhound races is a day I will never forget. My college friend and I carefully review all the greyhounds listed on the racing form and then place our first bet – $3 on a long shot named Daffy.
Put People First
Communicating consistently and often is not always enough. Clear leaders engage in conversations to connect, understand, and be understood.
